Club Líbano Venezolano

Club Líbano Venezolano (Av. Rio de Oro, Prados del Este, Caracas) – this is technically a private club – dedicated to the (Christian) Lebanese community that formed in Caracas during the early 20th century (similar to such migrations from Turkish-occupied Lebanon into other Latin countries – from Dominican Republic to Brazil). Non-members are allowed to eat at its restaurant, which is worth a visit for those wanting to sample Lebanese delicacies, such as kibbe (torpedo-shaped fried croquettes stuffed with minced beef or lamb), falafel, shish kebab, and other dishes.
