Iglesia del Hatillo
Iglesia del Hatillo (Caracas) – located in the southeastern part of Caracas, the district where this church (a.k.a. Iglesia de Santa Rosalía de Palermo) is located has managed to maintain its Spanish colonial look (as opposed to other parts of the capital, which have gone through architectural transformation connected to the country’s oil boom period from the 1960s into the 1980s). This church, built in 1784, gives visitors another glimpse of Caracas before the oil boom years.
