Museum of Colonial Art / Quinta Anauco (Av. Panteón, San Bernardo, Caracas) – this museum, opened in 1942, has various items from the country’s Spanish colonial era – from religious statues, to oil paintings of prominent locals, wood furniture and cabinets, house ware items, etc. Cultural events are occasionally held here as well. Admission: 40 Bs. (adult), 30 Bs. (children). Hours: 9 am – 12 Noon & 2 pm – 4 pm (Tuesday – Friday), 10 am – 4 pm (weekends and holidays). Closed on Monday.
