Palacio de Miraflores
Palacio de Miraflores (Av. Norte 10, Caracas) – this is the office of the country’s president. Opened in 1897, it previously acted as the official residence for some of Venezuela’s previous presidents. The Palace also has a historical archive (consisting of files belonging to the country’s previous presidents). The presidential barracks (whose troops are assigned to protect the country’s leader) is also close by.
