Parque Cueva del Indio (Av. Principal Solar del Hatillo, Caracas) – located on the southeastern outskirts of Caracas, this area was declared a park in April 1983, and its inauguration was held in 1986. The main attraction here is a mountain with over 30 caves Among the vegetation which can be seen in the park include yaguarumos, ceiba, coffee, pink mountain tapir claw, palm, wild orchids, lichens, mosses and fungi. There are also live bats, squirrels and a number of birds such as macaws.
