Paseo Los Próceres (Caracas) – located in the southern part of the city, this is a lengthy public promenade with monuments dedicated to the region’s independence heroes. There are also fountains, gardens, and areas ideal for rollerblading, biking and jogging. Located with its vicinity is the military installation Fuerte Tiuna (Fort Tiuna), and the country’s military academy.
